Due to the rise in local Coronavirus cases we have taken the difficult decision to suspend all Poultry Auctions. We will review this decision when things start to improve

Penkridge Poultry Auctions
Auctions have been held on the Market site since the 1930s. This tradition is continued with our monthly sale of Poultry, Eggs, Plants and Garden Sundries
The auction offers a wide range of not only poultry but garden plants, fresh eggs and useful equipment for the garden or small holding.
The auction is open to everyone to buy or sell so it really is an excellent opportuninty to experience a genuine traditional auction.
Everyone must follow Defra's biosecurity measures
We accept entries of:
- Gardening sundries
- Poultry equipment
If you wish to enter anything that is not on the above list please contact us prior to arrival
Entries are received between 8am and 10am on day of sale. Please note that we have a limited amount of space available and entries will close once that space is used.
All Eggs must be in lots of at least 6 eggs.
We take the welfare of the birds sold through our auction very seriously and endeavour to ensure that no birds are harmed during the auction process.
All poultry must be in boxes large enough for them to be able to stand without hinderance with no sharp edges
Water must be provided for poultry in hot weather
All birds entered must be at least 4 weeks old
If you have any concerns about the welfare of the birds in our sales please inform us as quickly as possible.
